Well, while it is very obvious that I'm not a very good painter, I would say that this one turned out much better than my abstract one. I still don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm learning!
The colors in this blend together very nicely. The highlights really help add depth. The detail on the closer mountains is really good, but to make this better you could add a little more detail to the ground. Great painting!
The sun looks really intense! I think this is an awesome picture! I lie the desert theme as well!

ReplyDeleteIf this is a desert scene then I would say that you are doing a pretty good job. It makes me think of going to Southern Utah.
